The Center for Disease Control is now recommending all persons wear a cloth face covering to slow the spread of the coronoavirus and to keep people who may have the virus and do not know if from transmitting it to others. They have found a significant number of people who have the virus, do not have symptoms--but they can still transmit the virus to others. This means the virus can spread between people interacting in close proximity--for example, speaking, coughing, or sneezing--even if those people are not exhibiting symptoms. The cloth face coverings recommended are not surgical or medical grade masks. Those are critical supplies that must continue to be reserved for healthcare workers and other medical first responders. Just wear a simple cloth cover over your nose and mouth when in public--it can be homemade, it can be homemade, it can be a bandana, it can be anything you want it to be--JUST DO IT!!!
Thank you, Ingleside ISD
